Dale Lunan, Editor
Dale has been covering the Canadian oil and gas industry for about 30 years, first with Oilweek during the dark days of the National Energy Program in the early 1980s, and then with the Nickle’s Energy Group, publisher of the Daily Oil Bulletin, for more than 15 years, where he was associate editor of the DOB and editor of a weekly energy newsletter called Energy Analects. He rejoined Oilweek in 2000 as news and statistics editor, and was named editor of the magazine in 2005.
Chaz Osburn, Director of Content
Chaz Osburn joined JuneWarren-Nickle’s Energy Group in 2007 after spending seven years as national editor of Automotive News, a trade publication for the global automotive industry headquartered in Detroit. Before that, he worked at daily newspapers in the United States for more than 15 years in a variety of reporting, editing and management roles. He enjoys travel and meeting new people, running, fishing, sports of all kinds and a good martini--shaken, not stirred.
Paul Stastny, Staff writer
Oilweek staff writer Paul Stastny is immersed in all facets of the oil and gas industry, following its trends, issues, technology developments and the people that make up this dynamic business. He’s been on Oilweek’s staff for five years, and prior to that was a regular contributor to the magazine. His education in political science at the University of British Columbia, a diverse background in business and a broad range of interests and reading combine to bring a unique and balanced perspective to his writing.
