AltaGas Income Trust extends bid for Landis Energy until March 22 (AltaGas)

CALGARY _ AltaGas Income Trust (TSX:ALA.UN) extended its bid on Wednesday for Landis Energy Corp. (TSXV:LIS) until March 22.
The trust said about 88.4 per cent of the shares of Landis have already been tendered to its offer of 80 cents per share.
Landis shares last traded for 82 cents on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Landis is a partner in the Alton natural gas storage facility near Truro, N.S., which is expected to serve customers who want to manage supply in eastern Canada and the United States.
