Wind turbine maker AAER lays off 28 workers temporarily (AAER-Layoffs)

MONTREAL _ Wind turbine maker AAER Inc. (TSXV:AAE) says it has to lay off 28 of its employees on a temporary basis to preserve cash.
The Bromont, Que.-based company says the layoffs will fall mostly among operational and administrative positions.
It did not provide financial details on the necessity to lay off the workers, nor did the company say how long it expects them to be out of work.
AAER says it will continue to service its existing customers and will go ahead with planning for the manufacture and erection of new wind turbines currently under contract.
AAER makes high-capacity power generating wind turbines principally for the North American market.
